Having worked for the Express & Star Newspaper for over 10 years, chief photographer Gavin Dickson presents a series of diverse portraits of the many colourful characters that make up the City of Wolverhampton. Between the 4th and 5th July in 2008 he occupied a shop space in the Mander Shopping Centre and captured images of shoppers against a studio background completely removing them from their retail environment.
