Andrew McDonald explores animation through moving drawings. John’s Country shows a headless man clambering over a ravine, continuously disappearing in and out of sight. The escapist realm is a creation of the artist’s feelings. The laborious process made from hundreds of drawings enables him to create a continuous motion series.
