About
This major solo exhibition of the artist Vered Lahav brings together unique new commissions, made especially for Wolverhampton, showing alongside previous work produced over a 10 year period. This revealing retrospective includes sculpture, drawing, video and photography. Vered's ranges of interests examine contemporary issues surrounding male/female identity and relationships, personal displacement and concerns with individual/collective identity influenced by her own experience. After completing an MA in Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art, Vered Lahav has exhibited widely nationally and internationally. Vered is a photographer and installation artist, known best for her beautiful and unusual photographic installations, that juxtapose photography and three-dimensional objects made from a variety of materials ' glass, wax, wood and rusted metal.
A detailed catalogue has been produced by Wolverhampton Art Gallery to accompany this exhibition.
