Sculpture Show presented a carefully selected set of works by a range of international artists, intended as a moment of revelry in ideas and forms, rather than an analytical examination of the current state of Sculpture (whatever that term now means). It purposefully included artworks that propose a range of possibilities, strategies or theories for the sculptural object, a meditation led by historical works by Mel Bochner, Franz West, David Medalla and Art & Language that function as contemporary provocations.
