Deep Rooted- How Trees Shape Our Lives
Featuring works from the Whitworth's internationally important collection of watercolours and drawings, this exhibition explores how trees have shaped our lives both physically and emotionally. It celebrates how artists have been inspired by trees and woodland and includes work by J.M.W Turner, Thomas Gainsborough, John Robert Cozens, William Hogarth and Paul Nash.
