About

Enforcing and Protecting Intellectual Property Where: Street Lecture Theatre, London College of Communication, Elephant & Castle, London , SE1 6SB Being copied and someone else ripping off your creative ideas is a major concern once you start to sell, publicise and promote your creative work. You need to protect your ideas and make sure you know what to do if someone does actually copy or makes money from work that is rightfully yours. This seminar will offer a basic guide to the law, covering the steps any creative professional should take in order to stop somebody else stealing or otherwise using your work without your permission (including copyright, patenting, trade marks, licensing and design rights.) This event is for new Own-it members who haven't attended an IP event previously. It's a basic guide to the law. Admission is free, however places are limited. To reserve your place please register and book online via the own-it website.
