ANIA SERAPHIN: Born 25.3.1999. Attending the Steiner aka Walldorff school in Helsinki. Her main interests are Manga and drawing. She likes to watch TV, especially Pimp My Ride, Amazing Race and Ninja Warrior. Pokemon is her favourite animated series. She really, really likes Japanese animation films by Hayao Miyazaki, like Howl's Moving Castle and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Her best friends are Saga, Maj and Leia. A fanzine of Ania's work will be produced for the exhibition featuring an interview with the artist's mother, Lena Séraphin and curator Cedar Lewisohn. The opening of the exhibition will feature an intervention by London based artist Mark Aerial Waller.
