Workshops, readings and events, focusing on writers and artists who live, or have lived in Cornwall. In partnership with Cambridgeshire Libraries.

Festival readings: Penelope Shuttle and Denise McSheehy
Saturday 4 July, 7-9pm
Penelope Shuttle (author of Redgrove’s Wife, shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize in 2008) and Denise McSheehy (winner of the Writers Inc competition in 2007) will be reading from their work. They will be joined by six commissioned poets who will perform poems inspired by Cornwall and Kettle’s Yard. £5, (£3 conc).

Poetry workshop with
Penelope Shuttle
Sunday 5 July, 11.15am-1.15pm
Using the paintings in the house at Kettle’s Yard for inspiration. £20.

Learning to see
Monday 6 July, 11.15am-1.15pm
Led by artist Issam Kourbaj and poet Helen Mort, this practical session looks at how artists and writers can share and exchange sources of information, with a focus on the theme of light in art and literature. £10.
