About
The large-scale installation of new works, entitled Tender Vessels, explores primitive spiritualism and the dark reality of idealistic pursuits through a range of cultures.Throughout their collaborative practice, they have drawn on folklore and popular iconography. Tender Vessels has transformed the over-arching themes of their influences into a singular and distinct visual language. The artists Cathy Ward and Eric Wright, are the winners of Emergency3, aspex' biennial open submission competition. The artists will be discussing their motivations and processes behind their work at aspex on Saturday 6 June, 4.30pm
