Impressions Gallery hosts the second Dead Threads competition brought to you by Saltaire vintage boutique, The House of Rose & Brown. The challenge is to resurrect / reconstruct / refashion clothing which is no longer fit to wear, transforming it into imaginative, wearable fashion. Join us at this drop-in workshop and take the chance to customise your old clothing or start your competition entry. Sewing experience is not essential as help will be on hand. There will also be a mini Rose & Brown Vintage Boutique selling a selection of beautiful things from every era to inspire you. Tea and cakes will also be on sale. The winning outfits or items of clothing will be exhibited at the Rose and Brown catwalk fashion show in September, and your creations will be captured on camera at the end of the day, and featured on Rose & Brown's website.
