Material Subversion: Artist Talk: Catherine Keenan

The Naughton Gallery at Queen's is delighted to welcome local craft maker Catherine Keenan to give a talk on her work as part of the exhibition Material Subversion and August Craft Month. Keenan is A glass artist based at Flowerfield Arts Centre, Keenan's work explores the liquid nature of the material and the organic development of spherical forms. She was originally attracted to the medium by the dexterity and swift, confident gestures necessary in order to produce elegant and expressive forms. The talk will take place in the Council Chamber in the Lanyon Building at 12.00 pm.
