Both works, 'On Paper' and 'The Action of Forces' are part of an ongoing series of collages, exploring basic geometric units as simple building materials. When combined via various loose systems this enables the generation of expressive forms, more organic than architectural in nature. Endless variety can be formed from a few basic repeated shaped. He uses found paper, card, and newspapers to experiment alongside his paintings on canvas, mixing collage, tape, acrylic paint, and marker pens.
