Howling Owl Records formed in the summer of 2011 after Joe Hatt and Adrian Dutt moved to Bristol from North Devon, and were taken aback by the amount of musical and artistic talent that this city was filled with. What was initially meant to be a one off tape compilation and gig at the Mothers Ruin, has now developed into a vinyl releasing record label who's last release was selected by Radio 6 as their album of the day (Oliver Wilde) and who sold out the Arnolfini earlier this year with their ‘New Year / New Noise' event…as well as a whole host of other landmarks along the way. This July see's us celebrate where we are right now and we have invited some of our favourite acts from this city and beyond to take part in what has accidentally become a bit of a festival within an art gallery. Every event is free entry, and the line up for each night will be kept a secret until you arrive. We will also be launching a publication '3 Years Of Howling Owl' on the night.
