Painting by Zoe Taylor
Taylor spent a week trying to paint images that evoked a sentimental sense of evening and longing as potential covers for her boyfriend, Yo Zushi’s new LP ‘It Never Entered My Mind’.
Using photos as starting points, she re-cropped and coloured. This magenta pink is in every image over layers of white and blue and other pinks.
She says “It felt great to be using acrylic again after so many years of drawing.”
Taylor is a freelance Illustrator based in London. She’s collaborated with Marc by Marc Jacobs, AnOther Magazine, The New York Times, The Guardian, Luella Bartley, The Fader, London Fashion Week, Syntax Editions and others.
