“ I stop to take a photo because of everything that the situation brings, at that one point in time. I pay particular recognition to the smaller pieces of our world; those parts that we can quickly overlook and I make an abstraction. My use of color pushes that abstraction, enhancing tiny details of flecks of rust, paint, and dirt and giving each it's moment. Printing the work the way I do takes that concept further still. I want to physically create something that moments later will be lost. “
Vent Fury is a British Jamaican Photographer, currently residing in the London Borough of Hackney.
He is regularly creating work in and around his local neighbourhood’s of Hackney and Walthamstow.
Vent Fury has produced commercial work for brands such as; Nike and Adidas, along side commissioned works for independent record companies, Eglo, apron and Wildoats. For several years he has been asked by Giles Peterson’s team to cover his worldwide music awards.
