This body of work was created during a three-month residency in Plymouth Arts Centre’s Studio and was inspired by Sara Bowler’s Looe Street Detectives exhibition. Juliet’s research-led work seeks to unearth historical narratives from the Batter Street archives, with a focus on ex-local resident John Kitto. The presentation of the outcomes of this research is part of Plymouth History Festival www.plymhistoryfest.wordpress.com/exhibitions and you can find out more about the artist at www.julietmiddletonbatts.com
