Welcome to the Sense Tapestry of Touch. There are over 250,000 children and adults who are deafblind in the UK. In 2013, Sense, the national charity for people who are deafblind, launched The Great Sense Pompom Challenge. People from all of the UK took part in the challenge and this tapestry is made of more than 6,000 pompoms. Thousands of artists with and without multi-sensory impairments contributed to the tapestry. This is their artwork. It is yours too. Most art exhibitions are hands-off. We say, lets get hands-on.
Find out more about Sense and the work we do. Follow us on facebook, and take a photo of yourself with the tapestry.
Upload it to our gallery and support deafblind people.
