Ahead of post graduate requirement for a final group exhibition in June, Rupert Bathurst and Kate McCormick create a bold experimental show, made up of three installations and approximately 12 giant prints. The intended tone of all the work is…Erotic, Unsettling and Funny, hopefully elements of all three. The underlying intention of the work is to eroticise and objectify core trauma. To render beautiful that which perhaps would instinctively remain hidden, and in so doing offer some hope of redemption through exposure.
