The scenes in these recent paintings by Anne Adamson are created from memory and imagination and contain references to her extensive travel, particularly through Asia and the Middle East. The work is enigmatic and often ambiguous, drawing on the fragmented imagery of dreams where scale is unpredictable and isolated structures occur in unexpected situations.
Anne has won several awards for her work which has been exhibited widely in the UK and abroad.
