54 Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of recent paintings by James Cooper. Over the last twenty years Cooper's painting processes have continued to evolve and mature. His sources of inspiration remain both diverse and eclectic. This latest exhibition provides an exciting opportunity to explore this development through images of landscapes, cityscapes, interiors, female life studies, and personal portraits. Traditional oil painting techniques are used in a modern style that allows Cooper to express his distinctive perspective on contemporary life in an exciting and unusual manner.
