About

The Green Room has been funded by Arts Council England's Catalyst fund. Specially commissioned by Nottingham Contemporary, the performance draws partly on the artist's research in the city. Some of the scenes have been filmed in Nottingham's extensive cave system and will be screened in The Space as a backdrop to the event. Personal debt is one of the themes explored in the performance, which includes a debt counsellor. The temple from the film Cat Woman, Chewbacca's nuclear family from the notoriously unsuccessful Star Wars Holiday Special, cat puppets and a green screen will feature too. The film, performance and installation will become a chapter of Chetwynd's forthcoming film, Hermitos Children 2, a Studio Voltaire commission. Book online or phone us on 0115 948 9750. Live broadcast online. The Space Free. Booking essential. Discussion
