A dilettantish exploration into domestic dominance.
Jackson Bateman & Joseph Ridgeon present new work for a limited time only.
Joseph Ridgeon graduated from The University of The West of England (Bristol) in 2012 and now lives and works in London. His work focuses on fetish, often replicating the real (both made and found) in colourful looped videos and drawings. Ridgeon has recently completed a residency at Studio 36, Spike Island (http://www.clawsonandward.co.uk/studio36) and exhibited at Videoholica, Bulgaria.
Jackson Bateman is an artist and curator currently working in Oxford and London. His work plays with functionality, entertainment and attitudes towards taste. Bateman produces light installations, objects and events alluding to that of a heavy metal concert, discotheque or any other secular mass (such as a coffee morning). Recent projects include the Curfew Tower Residency, Cushendalll, NI, and ongoing involvement with Bristol Diving School.
