What if a group of artists were each to take a book and create a visual response?
Artists were invited to submit work to the gallery which interpreted a book of their choice. Artwork in this exhibition explores how the written word is translated and represented in visual language and how narrative inspires the visual artist.
Exhibiting artists: Clare Beattie, Lynne Bingham, Ed Boxall, Laura Broad, Niki Campbell, David Chalkley, Louisa Crispin, Ruth Dent, Christine Gist, Jane Pitt, Julian Rowe, Pat Savage, Juliet Simpson, Amanda Thompson, Annabel Tilley, Rob Turner, Sara Wicks.
The Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery is a contemporary space run by Kent County Council to show new work from established and emerging artists and art groups. The gallery sits alongside the library and museum within the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope building.
