CIRCA Projects Space Release #13 Rubén Grilo — The Need For Speed 

Ruben Grilo (Lugo, 1981) makes use of conceptual and narrative strategies in order to question the statute of objectives and images, through mediums as diverse as software of digital presentation, laser projection, found art,  performance and installation.


Grilo uses the space of Stephenson Works to look at the origins of society's need for the acceleration of experience: beginning with the mechanisation and the creation of a physical communications network, railways – and culminating with the internet and the virtual networks of information, optical fiber.
