Somewhere between

‘Somewhere between’ is a collaborative exhibition by two, second year fine art under graduates. The work concentrates on issues of how inner life can be represented in images and signs highlighting the distinction between interiority and exteriority. The allegory of the work provides the viewer with a juxtaposition of the two artists interpretation of the subject. Where one body of work explores the silent moment one shares with themselves before an exterior emotive response is formed and a moment of pure personal inner thought.The other investigates the superior nature of dream, self, consciousness, unconscious, and existentialism. Considering the interval between life and death, questioning what may take place in the fusion of these two realms.
