Benedict Drew
The Onesie Cycle
at Rhubaba Gallery and Studios
To commence our 2013 programme, Rhubaba are proud to present The Onesie Cycle, the first solo show in Scotland by Benedict Drew.
Working with sound, video, projection and their associated technologies, Benedict Drew (b. 1977) creates fantastical worlds that are both mesmerising and unsettling. For his show at Rhubaba Drew will be showing a body of new work.
Drew graduated from the Slade School of Art in 2011 with an MA. He took part in the LUX Associate Artists programme 2011/2012 and was shortlisted for the Jarman Award in 2012.
Recent solo exhibitions include: Revolver Part 3, Matt's Gallery, London; THIS IS FEEDBACK, Outpost Gallery, Norwich; GLISS, Cell Project Space, London; The Glass Envelope, Zabludowicz Collection, London and The Persuaders, CIRCA Contemporary Art Projects, Newcastle.
Drew is represented by Matt's Gallery, London.
