The Sidney Cooper Gallery, Canterbury, is offering a series of three One Day Print Workshops. These are ideal for anyone, from expert to beginner; the print-makers will be led through the whole process of etching, starting by scribing on the zinc plate, immersing it to the acid and at the end creating your own print. At the end of each workshop participants will have at least two original prints to take home.
The print workshops are led by Canterbury Christ Church University Senior Lecturer and professional artist Euphemia MacTavish. The content of each workshop is different; the three informative and inspirational workshops separately give an introduction to etching, aquatint etching and carborundum printmaking techniques.
