Whose Economics? – Alternatives to the Status Quo

The study group will discuss alternative economies that exist or could exist, and how established economic thought might be challenged or changed. This is the final of three informal study group meetings which address the topic of ‘money’, from its beginnings and history, to getting to grips with the contemporary finance industry, to varied attempts at alternative economies. Discussions will be initiated by Amy Feneck and Ruth Beale, using books loaned by the Working Class Movement Library in Salford.
