Vibe Gallery is pleased to present POST-PRODUCTION LINE – the inaugural exhibition of the curatorial collaboration, fullhouse. The exhibition celebrates the first time that the three London-based curatorial collectives – A Single Window, arbor&time and Kunsthaus – have come together.
Taking inspiration from the site of the gallery itself – a converted biscuit factory – POST-PRODUCTION LINE explores mass-production in its antithesis. Posing the question: ‘what occurs after the production line?’, fullhouse brings together a diverse range of young and emerging artists, each creating work through the means of one distinct commonality: the meticulous process of re-editing and re-evaluating a manufactured, mechanically-fabricated product of mass, whilst allowing for it to become both hand-crafted and unique. Each work is a genuine feat of artistic, or perhaps more appropriately we should say artisanal, labour – each is sui generis, a true original.
