Transmissions
Transmissions, a future event planned as a site-specific work within the Quays, seeks to plot a course across the history of the Quays and Trafford Park.
As a sharing event and showcase, Soup Collective, including MA Creative Technology students Mark Thomas and Alasdair Swenson, will be presenting
a short audio- visual sketch on the 23rd March bringing together some of the
technologies and themes developed through their Research and Development phase. The sketch gives a nod to the history of one of the first radio broadcasts to come out of the North West, providing a starting point for the event as a whole and an opportunity to show some of the techniques and output Soup Collective has been developing.
