Karen Loader

Karen Loader is an artist living and working in London. Her abstract paintings explore ideas around the philosophy of perception and how we negotiate the world around us. The starting point is usually a series of photographic observations made whilst moving through London - on the tube, the bus or on foot. These visual notes get dissected and reconfigured to become disjointed fragments that form an overall essence of a place rather than a specific representation of it.
